Blue Butterflies

“Blue Butterflies” is my new series of paintings inspired on the butterfly which is the symbol for the thyroid awareness campaign. In 2003, My entire life changed. I discovered that I suffer from an autoimmune thyroid disease and that there is no cure for it.

There was a couple of times when I felt like I was going to die and of course I thought this disease was the worse thing that ever happened to me. But I went under radio treatment and I am ALIVE!

And now the same disease that once made me feel like there was no hope, has inspired me to create these paintings that somehow also represent the story on my life.

These painting would be a great present for that special person in your life who like me suffers from a thyroid disease.
